Booking and Play Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and payment

• Bookings are made online and confirmed by email. Make sure you received that email.
• Prices are per person, vary by game and are shown when you book. Applicable taxes are added to the prices shown.
• A deposit paid online confirms your booking. How it works is explained in our Cancellation, Rescheduling and Deposit Policy.
• The balance is paid online when you book or on site before your game starts. On site, we accept cash, credit cards and debit cards.
• The person who books must let everyone in the group know about these terms.

2. Cancellations, rescheduling and late arrivals

The rules for cancelling, rescheduling, arriving late and not showing up are in our Cancellation, Rescheduling and Deposit Policy. Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your booked time.

3. Age and supervision

• Our games are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless a game lists a higher minimum age.
• Children under 8 can come along with a group for free. From age 8, the regular price applies.
• Children 12 and under must be with an adult at all times, in the room and anywhere on our premises. That adult takes part in the game and counts as a player.
• Minimum ages: 18 and up for The Clandestine Bar; 16 and up for The Castle of Eternal Suffering and The Estate of John Jackson.

4. Safety and health

• You are never actually locked in: you can leave the room at any time.
• Our team watches the rooms at all times. Follow your game master’s instructions at all times.
• No puzzle requires force. Never force a mechanism, a lock or any part of the set.
• Some games include darkness, sound effects or an intense atmosphere. The Final Exam and The Castle of Eternal Suffering include narrow passages, tunnels or spots where you have to crawl.
• Pregnancy, claustrophobia, reduced mobility or a health condition: contact us before you book and we will point you to a game that suits you. Everyone plays within their own limits.
• Every player must fill out the risk acknowledgement form before playing. A parent or guardian fills it out for a minor.

5. Conduct

• Anyone who is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be refused entry, with no refund. Alcohol is not allowed on our premises.
• Any violent, disrespectful or dangerous behaviour toward our team, other players or the premises ends the game, with no refund.
• No food or drinks in the game rooms.
• Photos and videos are not allowed in the rooms, to protect the experience for the next groups.

6. Breakage and damage

Damage caused by carelessness, use of force or a deliberate act may be charged to the person responsible, at the cost of repair or replacement.

7. Language

Our games are available in English and French. Choose your language when you book.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for all our experiences, never expire and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. Personal belongings and parking

Sauve Qui Peut is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings, or for parking, parking meters or tickets.

10. Personal information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information, including your booking information, which is handled by our booking provider, Off The Couch (see its privacy policy). 11. Changes and governing law

Sauve Qui Peut may change these terms at any time. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec.
